I understand that you are looking for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Girlfriend, and I'd like to explain why I think I would be ideal for the job. First of all, I am a reasonably attractive young woman in my early thirties, with neither a burning urge to get married nor a strong determination against it. I possess neither children nor pets, am gainfully employed, and come with a minimum of emotional baggage. I am steady, dependable, and easy-going, though that's not to say that I don't work hard when necessary. I am fully capable of fidelity while remaining neither clingy nor possessive, and I have a proven track record of equitable treatment toward past partners (I can provide references if necessary).
Among my more specific talents are a supportive and encouraging manner -- even when faced with impractical goals such as poker championships, gaming tournaments, and stand-up comedy. I also possess a high tolerance or even an active interest in such subjects as video games, RPGs, comic books, and a wide variety of film genres like martial arts, westerns, horror, and action. I am socially adept, and engaged in a number of hobbies that would not preclude you from enjoying your own. My domestic assets may be somewhat minimal, but I am a decent cook, and certain other abilities should offset any complaints. I have excellent oral skills, as well as an enthusiastic and experimental demeanor (Again, I can provide references if needed).
Should you choose to offer me the position, I will do my utmost to ensure that my tenure is satisfying and fulfilling for both of us, and that you have no regrets in your decision. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. Thank you.
